By now I assume you know how I feel about consuming unfiltered tap water. If not, you can click here. Well now there is even more proof that tap water can be extremely toxic and harmful to you.

Over 500,000 times!!! You would think the government bodies in charge of these laws…

Actually, I prefer to avoid speaking about the politics of this issue, please read for yourself though.

Here’s the article published in The New York Times.

PS – Don’t forget to question the source of the water used in your morning tea or coffee if you are not making it at home; and bottled drinks as well.

    Hello,
I have a brief question regarding this article and will be sending an email regarding seeing you about my overall health later.
So, what water CAN we drink? BPA free bottled? Neutral PH? What is an affordable way to drink safe, non toxic water? I drink 1/2-a gallon a day and I have a feeling some of my problems are due to tap water. Thank you!!

      Hi Anastasia,

Filtered tap is fine, IF you can find a good filter. I can’t say I found one I absolutely love. I use Mountain Valley in my office.
Some bottled waters are good. I prefer neutral pH and not excessively alkaline (or acidic).
Tap water is probably contributing to a problem…I can’t say I’ve ever see tap water be a sole problem for anyone’s issues – but it’s certainly possible.

      Take care,
      Dr. Rob D’Aquila
